Remembering 9/11: Attacks ‘More Than Memory’ for Military, Families ‘United in Sacrifice’

“Their lives would become intertwined with the conflicts launched in Afghanistan and Iraq over the next two years as part of what became the Global War on Terrorism. Fifteen years later, that global war continues.”
