Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry became the second contestant to get the boot from ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” on Tuesday night.

At the end of the episode, Perry, model Amber Rose and actress Terra Jole were all in jeopardy of being axed.

But it was Perry and his partner Emma Slater who were ultimately eliminated after judges delivered a 23/40 verdict on the pair’s traditional pasodoble dance.

“My daughter’s getting married the 15th of October, but I can promise you I will look good on the dance floor for her,” Perry said afterward. “And I’m doing it for all the veterans out there and I hope everybody will find a great veteran’s cause to go help these guys. We’ve got one called Advance the Colors that I hope everyone will go take a look at. Thank you guys!”
