Arizona Democrat Ruben Gallego is getting a divorce from his wife, Kate Gallego, according to a Facebook post. Local Arizona news also reported the couple is pregnant with their first child.

Kate Gallego posted an announcement on Wednesday and the congressman, 37, shared it and commented: “I’m sad to announce that my marriage is ending. Kate and I hope to keep this a private matter and appreciate your respect for our privacy.”

The couple was married in 2010 and is currently expecting their first child, according to KTAR News.

Kate is the vice major of Phoenix and was elected to the Phoenix City Council in 2013, the outlet reported.
