Friday’s inaugural ceremonies featured the traditional sea of patriotically hued ties, more than one all-white pants suit and the new first lady’s elegant Ralph Lauren ensemble, which was admired by both sides of the political Twitterati.

And then there was Kellyanne Conway.

The counselor to President Donald Trump sent shockwaves through social media Friday for sporting a $3,600 wool Gucci coat that she dubbed “Trump Revolutionary wear.”

Commentators on Twitter had some different names for the outfit.

Making the sartorial choice even more odd, the buttons on her top coat are actually fashioned like cats.
