Blumenauer Goes on Twitter Rant Against ‘#LiarInChief’ Trump
Oregon Democratic congressman calls out president on falsehoods since taking office
Rep. Earl Blumenauer, D-Ore., slammed President Donald Trump on the president’s favorite social media platform, Twitter on Monday night.
Blumenauer sent out 35 tweets using the hashtag #LiarInChief, responding to falsehoods the White House has released since taking office.
The Oregon Democrat noted how Trump’s inaugural address said he would put “America first” but that his lies help nobody but himself.
Blumenauer closed out the tweetstorm by quoting from various former presidents, authors and intellectuals such as Abraham Lincoln, Khaled Hosseini and George Washington on lying.
