McCain’s Mom Celebrates 105th Birthday

Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain tweeted birthday wishes to his mother, Roberta McCain, who celebrated her 1o5th birthday on Tuesday.

And from her daughter-in-law, Cindy McCain…

And granddaughter Meghan McCain sent birthday wishes to her Nana.

Roberta McCain was born Feb. 7, 1912, in Oklahoma. McCain’s father John S. McCain Jr., died in 1981 from a heart attack while on a military aircraft from Europe with his wife by his side.

Besides Sen. McCain, she has two other children — Joe McCain and Sandy McCain.

Roberta McCain has made a number of media appearances, especially when her son was running for president in 2008.

The senator is 81 years old.
