Basketball game coming up

The 30th annual Home Court Charity Game is coming up later this month and on the roster so far is Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., and Reps. Ryan A. Costello, R- Pa., Ro Khanna, D-Calif., Steny H. Hoyer, D-Md., James R. Comer, R-Ky., Alma Adams, D-N.C., Mark Meadows, R-N.C., Joseph P. Kennedy III, D-Mass., Jeff Denham, R-Calif., and Del. Aumua Amata Coleman Radewagen, R-A.S.

You can buy tickets online for the March 22 game at Gonzaga High School. The lawmakers will take on a team of Georgetown Law faculty and staff to raise money for the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless.

The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation is hosting a reception in honor of the inaugural Kakehashi Japan study abroad delegation at 6 p.m. at the American Trucking Association (430 First St. SE). This event is closed to the public.

WednesdayResearch!America’s Advocacy Awards dinner honors actress Kathy Bates and former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr., among others. The event takes place at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium (1301 Constitution Ave. NW) and is invite-only.
