Schumer: GOP Majority Has 17 Days to Reach Deal on DACA

Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer, D-N.Y., chided President Donald Trump for not being “willing to take yes for an answer” and rejecting two bipartisan deals on DACA. After his speech on the Senate floor Monday afternoon, enough Democrats voted to end a filibuster and approve a key procedural hurdle clearing the way for a three-week stopgap funding measure to reopen the federal government.
