Roll Call’s White House correspondent John T. Bennett outlines what he’ll be watching for during the president’s address to Congress and the nation on Tuesday. Bennett says he’ll be looking for whether President Donald Trump in fact strikes a bipartisan tone as his aides have previewed, whether he’ll stick to the script — and if he picks up his phone come Wednesday morning and sticks with his messages from the previous night.
