McConnell, Schumer Hopeful About Avoiding Shutdown

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer, R-Ky., took to the microphones on Tuesday and seemed eager to come to an agreement that would keep the government open past a Thursday night deadline.
