Watch: New Political Ad Responds to Ted Cruz’s ‘Tough as Texas’ Campaign Slogan

Sen. Ted Cruz’s re-election campaign slogan — “Tough as Texas” — is getting some attention. A Super PAC called Fire Ted Cruz PAC released an ad explaining what Texas tough should really mean to Cruz, who continues to support President Donald Trump despite Trump’s repeated insults of the senator’s family. The ad was directed by Oscar-nominated Richard Linklater and features actor Sonny Carl Davis.
