FBI Director Defends Kavanaugh Investigation: Limited in Scope, Standard Practice

Sen. Kamala Harris questioned FBI Director Christopher Wray on the scope of the bureau’s investigation into the sexual assault allegations against Brett Kavanaugh the week preceding Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court. Wray called the week-long investigation “limited in scope” but said it was “consistent with the standard process for such investigations going back quite a long ways.”
