Bennett says polls in competitive midterm races are looking a bit tighter as President Donald Trump went on the offensive to support Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh by attacking his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford. With Kavanaugh’s successful confirmation, Trump is hitting Democrats on the campaign trail over their handling of the confirmation process.
