The Tennessee Senate race is now national news following pop musician Taylor Swift’s endorsement of Democratic Senate nominee Phil Bredesen. Rep. Marsha Blackburn and Bredesen discussed a wide range of issues including the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings, the 2010 health care law, the U.S., Mexico and Canada trade deal and border security in their second and final debate Oct. 10. Inside Electionswith Nathan L. Gonzales rates the race Lean Republican but Swift’s comments generated a voter registration surge in the state.
