Brat Echoes GOP’s Nancy Pelosi Attack Line in Virginia Debate

Dave Brat, R-Va., took the stage Monday evening in Culpeper, Virginia, to defend his seat from Democratic challenger Abigail Spanberger. Brat not only criticized Spanberger’s positions on healthcare, immigration and trade, but linked his opponent to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi as the GOP hopes to seize upon the opposition leader’s unpopularity ahead of the midterm elections.
