President Donald Trump on Tuesday called the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals a “disgrace,” saying he intends to file a “major complaint” against it for a ruling against his attempts to cease asylum grants to migrants.

Without providing specific potential moves, he told reporters on the South Lawn that the country must “look at” the 9th Circuit because other countries take cases against the U.S. there for an “automatic win.”

He also panned the court for decisions such as those against his “travel ban” that tried to deny entry into the United States to individuals from certain Muslim-majority counties.

While Trump was not specific, the generally liberal-leaning 9th Circuit faces frequent criticism from conservatives, and that is one area where the president shares common ground with none other than Sen. Jeff Flake.

The retiring Arizona Republican, who has frequently criticized Trump, has introduced legislation that would pull Alaska, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Nevada and Washington out of the current California-based circuit.

Meantime, as House Democrats signaled they intend to investigate the email use of White House adviser Ivanka Trump, the president defended his daughter, saying she never shared classified information while doing government business on a personal account.

His supporters still chant “Lock her up” about his 2016 Democratic foe, Hillary Clinton, over her use of a private email server when she was secretary of State.

And amid a stock market slump, Trump contended that the U.S. economy is doing “great.”
