Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced Tuesday the House would proceed with a formal impeachment inquiry regarding the actions of President Donald Trump.

“This is a full-blown impeachment inquiry, and Speaker Pelosi’s our leader,” said Maryland Rep. Jamie Raskin following a Democratic caucus meeting to discuss impeachment. It is not clear whether the inquiry will result in a House floor vote on impeachment.
