Virginia Rep. Elaine Luria held a town hall Thursday night in her Virginia Beach district, about a week after she announced her support for an impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump. Trump won her purple district in 2016, and it was most recently held by Republican Scott Taylor before she flipped it in 2018.

Some constituents at the event voiced support for the president, but the congresswoman also received several standing ovations when discussing her impeachment stance.
