Former first lady has died at the age of 96

Rosalynn Carter, wife of former President Jimmy Carter, died Sunday at the age of 96. The former first lady, who had been married to Carter for more than 77 years and was his closest adviser throughout his political and public career, was diagnosed with dementia earlier this year and had been in hospice since Friday.
