Capitol Lens | Former Sen. Bob Graham, 1936–2024

(Tom Williams/CQ Roll Call)

Former Democratic Sen. Bob Graham died Tuesday at the age of 87. Graham was governor of Florida from 1979 to 1987 before being elected to the Senate, where he served for 18 years. He is pictured here on the House floor on Jan. 6, 2015 — 10 years after leaving the Senate — with former Rep. Gwen Graham, his daughter, before she was sworn in as a member of the 114th Congress representing Florida’s 2nd District.
