Thousands flocked to Washington on Saturday for the WorldPride Parade. The nation’s capital hosted this year’s festivities.

The procession, which showcased elaborate floats and performers, started at Thomas Circle and made its way down Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest. Many attendees used the parade to protest the Trump administration and its efforts against the transgender community, as the parade route passed close to the White House.
