Granted, FEC filings will always play second banana to a former president’s criminal trial, Senate consideration of impeachment articles against a Cabinet secretary and drama over a slow-moving leadership coup in the House, but they do offer a glimpse of how the 2024 House and Senate campaigns are shaping up in an election with big consequences.
