It was her grandpa’s big day, but it’s a good bet that Reilly Reid was more interested in her snack than the machinations of government surrounding her. The 3-year-old was all dressed up Thursday for the confirmation hearing of her grandfather, Christopher Henry, to be deputy undersecretary for policy at the Defense Department. But Reilly’s other grandpa is also pretty well-known around the Senate: Sen. Harry Reid. The Nevada Democrat’s son married Henry’s daughter, and Reilly is their daughter. Henry’s nomination unanimously cleared the Armed Services Committee.
