Capitol Hill Chorale Marks Anniversary

The Capitol Hill Chorale celebrates its 10th anniversary with a pair of spring concerts at St. Joseph’s Church on Second Street Northeast.

The performances — at 7:30 p.m. March 14 and 16 — will feature a suite of newly commissioned American folk songs by Capitol Hill resident and composer Leo Nestor.

Tickets are $20 for preferred seating, $15 for general seating, and $10 for seniors, students with ID and disabled persons. For more information, call the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop at (202) 547-6839.

Ice-Skating Rink Closes on Sunday

This weekend is your last chance this season to ice skate on the National Mall.

The National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden ice skating rink will be open through Sunday, weather permitting. The rink is in the center of the Sculpture Garden, at Seventh Street and Constitution Avenue Northwest.

Hours are 10 a.m.-11 p.m. through Thursday, 10 a.m.-midnight Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $6 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under, students with ID, and seniors 50 and over. Skate rental is $2.50.
