Good Knight

No, it’s not the Maryland Renaissance Festival. But then-Rep. Connie Morella (R-Md.) did get knighted on the Capitol steps during the summer of 1991.

In this photo, Edward Jagen, known as the Blue Knight of the White Cross, lays a sword on Morella’s shoulder to induct her into the Divine Order of the Good Knights.

Jagen, a supporter of providing information to schoolchildren to help them avoid being abducted or abused, honored Morella for her work to protect children.
