There are always press conferences on Capitol Hill, and many of them include Members mixing with Hollywood stars. But Thursday gave Hill denizens and the media an unusual combination when Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist joined Sesame Street’s Elmo at a press conference in the Capitol to encourage healthy eating habits for children. After Frist and Sen. Ron Wyden announced the “Healthy Habits for Life” campaign as well as a proposal to reduce obesity among children, Elmo took questions from the media. Above, he’s being grilled by Ira Dreyfuss of The Associated Press and Chad Pergram of Public Radio International.
