District of Columbia Superior Court Judge Elizabeth Carroll Wingo ruled today there is probable cause for the felony charge against Michael Gorbey, the man accused of carrying a loaded shotgun and an array of other weapons near the Capitol on Friday. Gorbey was arrested after a Capitol Police officer spotted him walking in the 300 block of 1st Street Northeast around 1 p.m. Wingo also ruled that Gorbey, 38, continue to be held without bond. Gorbey, who has several other prior felony convictions, has pleaded not guilty to the charge, possession of a firearm by a felon. — Elizabeth Brotherton
