Fisher to Join Ensign at Republican Policy Committee

National Republican Senatorial Committee spokeswoman Rebecca Fisher will continue to work with Sen. John Ensign (Nev.) when the outgoing NRSC chairman takes the reins at the Republican Policy Committee. Fisher will be the communications director for the RPC starting in January. Before the NRSC, Fisher was the chief spokeswoman for the Federal Communications Commission, in addition to serving in various communications roles in Sen. John McCain’s (R-Ariz.) office from 2000 to 2004. Brian Walsh, the spokesman for incoming NRSC Chairman John Cornyn (Texas), will take over for Fisher at the campaign committee.
