Financial Services Ranking Members Named

House Financial Services ranking member Spencer Bachus (R-Ala.) on Friday announced the panel’s new subcommittee ranking members.

Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) will serve as ranking member on the Subcommittee on Domestic Monetary Policy and Technology.

Rep. Judy Biggert (Ill.) will be the top Republican on the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations.

Rep. Gary Miller (R-Calif.) will serve as ranking member on the Subcommittee on International Monetary Policy and Trade.

Rep. Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) will be the ranking member on the Subcommittee on Housing and Community Opportunity.

Rep. Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas) will serve as ranking member on the Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit.

Finally, Rep. Scott Garrett (N.J.) will be the lead GOP lawmaker on the Subcommittee on Capital Markets, Insurance and Government Sponsored Enterprises.
