Larson Undergoes Heart Surgery

House Democratic Caucus Chairman John Larson (Conn.) underwent successful heart valve replacement surgery Tuesday.“The Congressman is doing well and resting now. He is expected to make a full recovery and will return to work in the course of the next few weeks,— family spokesman Barry Feldman said in a statement.The elective surgery was conducted at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, Conn. Larson’s doctors are expected to answer questions about the surgery later Tuesday afternoon.
