HOH’s One-Minute Recess: DeLay Is Odds Man Out

Tom DeLay might be Washington’s sentimental favorite to win “Dancing With the Stars— (Republicans for obvious reasons; Democrats simply for the chance to watch more of his cringe-inducing performances), but professional oddsmakers aren’t so kind.

[IMGCAP(1)]The former House Majority Leader, who debuted on the dancing competition Monday night, is low on the list of favored winners. Sports-Odds.com has the Texas Republican on its DWTS “Hall of Shame,— with the chance of him winning the competition at 30-1 (the site favors singer Mya as the winner, with odds of 3-2).

Another oddsmaking site, 1800-sports.com, is slightly more optimistic about the Hammer’s prospects, giving him a 13-1 chance of besting the other dancers.

We say when it comes to the wily DeLay, all bets are off!
