Photo From the Attic: Back to the Future?

[IMGCAP(1)]In November 1994, Republicans formally elected a new leadership team after regaining control of the House for the first time in 40 years. But Republicans at the time said the writing was on the wall one year earlier, when GOP candidates won gubernatorial races in New Jersey and Virginia. Tuesday’s GOP wins in those same two states gave Republicans hope that history would repeat itself in 2010. Ohio Rep. John Boehner (center) is the only member of that GOP leadership team who is still in Congress.
