Campus Notebook: Serving Early Birds

Members and staffers who can’t wait until next week for a plate of turkey and mashed potatoes can head to the Senate cafeterias on Thursday for a Thanksgiving spread.

[IMGCAP(1)]Restaurant Associates, the company that runs the Senate cafeterias, is offering a variety of holiday meals throughout the Senate complex. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Dirksen North Cafe will offer a “traditional— Thanksgiving menu for $11. For $16, staffers can get Thanksgiving with a “modern twist— around the corner at the Dirksen Southside Buffet; reserved seating will be offered at 11 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., with open seating from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The Senate Dining Room will also switch to a Thanksgiving theme for the day.
