It may not be my expectation,— House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) said late last week about the prospect of wrapping up all business by the end of this week.Bills that still require House action include the Defense spending bill, a jobs package and a short-term continuing resolution to keep the government funded beyond Dec. 18, when current funding runs out.
