Shuster, Cantor and McKeon Give to Romney PAC

He’s makin’ a list, checkin’ it twice: The monthly report for former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney’s political action committee has come in, and it seems three members of Congress have been more than nice this year.

According to Free and Strong America PAC’s
monthly report, Rep. Bill Shuster (R-Pa.), House Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.) and Rep. Howard P. “Buck” McKeon (R-Calif.) all transferred funds from their respective PACs.

Shuster, who endorsed Romney in the 2008 GOP presidential primary, transferred $5,000 in June. McKeon, another Romney backer from the 2008 primary, transferred $5,000 from his 21st Century PAC in May.

Unlike McKeon and Shuster, Cantor endorsed Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) in the 2008 presidential primary. Cantor’s PAC transferred $5,000 to Romney’s PAC in January — about five months before the two Republicans participated in a forum for the National Council for New America in May.
