Gutierrez tops $300,000 Mark

Wealthy restauranteur and developer Armando Gutierrez Jr. –‘one of several Republicans seeking the GOP nomination in Florida’s 8th district — is set to report $310,000 in receipts in just over two months of fundraising.

Gutierrez announced in a press release Thursday that he had spent around $10,000 since entering the race to unseat freshman Rep. Alan Grayson (D) on Nov. 2, leaving him over $300,000 in cash on hand as he begins his first full quarter of fundraising.

Gutierrez’s fourth quarter haul includes $210,000 in donations from 282 donors and a $100,000 of his own money.
