Quayle Endorses in NH Senate Race

Senate candidate Ovide Lamontagne is about to find out whether former Vice President Dan Quayle is an opinion driver in New Hampshire.

On Monday, Quayle endorsed Lamontagne‘s bid for his state’s Senate nomination.

“Marilyn and I have known Ovide and Bettie since 1999 when Governor and Nancy Sununu introduced us to each other,” Quayle said in a statement provided by Lamontage’s campaign. “It is important that this Senate seat remain in Republican hands in 2010, and I am confident that Ovide is the man to do just that.”
