Oregon: Freshman Schrader Starts Leadership PAC

Freshman Rep. Kurt Schrader (D) has filed to create his own leadership political action committee.

Schrader, who along with his wife raised their children on Three Rivers Farm, christened his new campaign arm Three Rivers PAC.

Schrader won his first term in Congress in 2008 by taking 54 percent of the vote. Republicans have indicated that they plan to target Schrader in 2010, and state Rep. Scott Bruun (R) has announced he will run against him in the slightly competitive district.
