HOH’s One-Minute Recess: I Know You Are, but What Am I?

Over the weekend, Rep. Alan Grayson responded to a jibe from former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) with a string of insults. Among the taunts that the Florida Democrat flung at Palin in an e-mail to his supporters: “chillbilly,” “former half-term Governor, current-nothing and future-even-less” and “wild Alaskan dingbat.”

[IMGCAP(1)]Palin appeared this weekend in Grayson’s district, where she took a swipe at the Democrat. “What can you say about Alan Grayson?” Palin asked the GOP crowd.

“Piper is with me tonight, so I won’t say anything about Alan Grayson that can’t be said around children,” she said.

In an e-mail responding to the slight, Grayson let loose with an extended tirade. “Atypically, Palin was wearing clothes that she had paid for herself,” the e-mail noted. In it, Grayson praised Palin for “having a hand large enough to fit [his] entire name on it” and for “getting through the entire hour-long program without quitting.”

We’re half expecting Palin’s response to include references to rubber and glue.
