HOH’s One-Minute Recess: What, No Dodgeball?

President Barack Obama is putting the recess back in recess, spending his morning engaging in some activities familiar to school kids out on the playground: a few games, reading Dr. Seuss, playing a little basketball, then topping it all off with some baseball.

[IMGCAP(1)]According to the pool report from Monday morning’s annual Easter Egg Roll at the White House, Obama read the Seuss classic “Green Eggs and Ham” to some pint-sized attendees, and when he finished, indicated he’s taking the whole “recess” concept seriously.

“I gotta go play basketball,” he told the kids.

Maybe the game will help loosen up the prez, who’s scheduled to throw out the ceremonial pitch Monday afternoon at the season-opening game at Nationals Park.
