Arizona: Quayle Brings In More Than $500,000

Attorney and investor Ben Quayle (R), son of former Vice President Dan Quayle (R), says he has raised $550,000 since launching his House campaign in mid-February.

He is running for the seat opening up with the retirement of Rep. John Shadegg (R).

Paradise Valley Mayor Vernon Parker (R) raised $230,000, and entrepreneur Steve Moak (R) raised $280,000 and added a $43,000 personal loan, according to a report filed with the Federal Election Commission.

Among other Republicans in the race, former state Sen. Pamela Gorman raised $37,000 in the first quarter of 2010; former Paradise Valley Mayor Ed Winkler raised $28,000 and took out a $20,000 loan.
