Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden has been hospitalized and is being treated for an undisclosed condition at Christiana Medical Center in Newark, according to a statement issued Tuesday from Vice President Joseph Biden’s office.

Beau Biden, the vice president’s son, is “undergoing treatment at present” and is “alert and awake, and communicating with his parents and his wife, who are with him,” the statement reads.
