Hill Leaders Heading to White House Next Week

President Barack Obama will host Congressional leaders at the White House on Thursday for a bicameral, bipartisan meeting to discuss the upcoming work period, Hill sources said Friday.

The president invited Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio), Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) to sit down together for a general discussion on the legislative agenda for June and July.
