Obama to Make Fourth Trip to Gulf Coast Next Week

President Barack Obama is taking another trip to the Gulf Coast next week, this time to spend two days assessing the BP oil spill cleanup effort in Gulf states besides Louisiana, the White House announced Tuesday.

The president will spend Monday and Tuesday touring the Mississippi, Alabama and Florida coastlines to survey the efforts being made to counter the massive spill. The trip will mark Obama’s fourth visit to the region since the disaster began on April 20, when a BP oil rig exploded and sent oil gushing into the ocean.
