McConnell to Stump With Boozman Tuesday

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) will be in Little Rock, Ark., Tuesday to campaign with Rep. John Boozman, the Republican challenger to Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D).

McConnell is scheduled to join Boozman for a fundraiser in the morning and an afternoon media roundtable, according to the Congressman’s campaign.

After surviving a bitter Democratic primary, Lincoln is one of the GOP’s top targets, and Boozman is favored to deny the Senator a third term.

“Senator McConnell has long led the fight for a limited federal government, fiscal responsibility and the common-sense values that are lacking in the left-wing agenda,” Boozman said in a statement. “I am grateful for Senator McConnell’s leadership and support for my campaign. I look forward to welcoming him to Arkansas next week and working with him to put our country back on the right course.”
