DCCC Business Council Plans Final 2010 Event With K Streeters

House Financial Services Chairman Barney Frank (Mass.) and New Democrat Coalition Chairman Joe Crowley (N.Y.) on Thursday will headline House Democrats’ last fundraising breakfast of the cycle with the downtown business community.

According to a Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee e-mail obtained by Roll Call, the event is the DCCC Business Council’s last gathering before the 2010 midterm elections and is being held at the campaign committee’s headquarters from 8 to 8:45 a.m.

“If you and/or your PAC has not contributed to your fullest ability yet this year, please consider contributing to the DCCC TODAY before our crucial September 30th deadline TOMORROW,” DCCC Deputy Finance Director Amy Pfaehler wrote Wednesday. “Only 34 days left until the election!!!!!”

Reps. Ron Klein (Fla.) and Dennis Cardoza (Calif.), who head up DCCC’s K Street outreach, are also expected to attend.
