Heard on the Hill: Movie Buff

An HOH spy spotted Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid taking in a 5:15 p.m. showing of the intense film “Blue Valentine” at the Landmark E Street Cinema on Sunday.

The Nevada Democrat walked into the theater shortly before the film began and took a seat next to another patron, although our spy didn’t recognize Reid’s date.

Reid is known for his love of cinema, and he appears to have eclectic tastes. In June 2009, another spy saw the Senator at the AMC Loews in Georgetown taking in an afternoon screening of the comedy “The Hangover.”
