House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s overseas trip was back on track Tuesday after a brief visit to an Italian hospital Monday.

The California Democrat met Tuesday with Italian President Giorgio Napolitano. She also traveled to a U.S. military base in Vicenza, Italy, with other members of the bipartisan codel, which includes Reps. John Mica (R-Fla.), Bill Pascrell (D-N.J.), and Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.), Pelosi spokesman Nadeam Elshami confirmed.

“We’re back on schedule,” Elshami wrote in an email.

Details about what caused Pelosi to go to the hospital are still unknown.

The delegation stopped in Afghanistan before arriving in Italy on Monday to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the nation’s unification. The California Democrat was scheduled to meet that day with Italian Defense Minister Ignazio La Russa and Gianfranco Fini, head of the lower house of the Italian parliament, when she felt “slightly unwell,” according to a report by the Agence France-Presse. She was briefly hospitalized, and she canceled her meeting with La Russa and postponed her meeting with Fini.
