HOH’s One-Minute Recess: Scornful Sheen

Another one bites the dust: Charlie Sheen has joined the “birthers.”

In a trip to Washington on Tuesday, the former star of CBS’ “Two and a Half Men” sided with fellow celeb Donald Trump in questioning President Barack Obama’s American birth certificate — or lack thereof, in his opinion.

“I was f—ing born here. How about that?” ranted Sheen in stark contrast to the elegant Daughters of the American Revolution headquarters where, just days before, staffers dined at the Taste of the South Gala. “And I got proof! Nothing Photoshopped about my birth certificate.”

That was just his warm up. Sheen didn’t stop with the “birther” issue. Radio host Tommy Griffiths asked the actor what he would do to Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi if he were president — Sheen said he would punish Gadhafi by making him marry his ex-wives.

Griffiths asked what Sheen would do to balance the federal budget — he said he would break up the Federal Reserve and send IRS workers to prison.

Even Sarah Palin couldn’t escape his scorn. He called her the “lunatic from Alaska.”

Did we mention he considered a run for office?
