HOH’s One-Minute Recess: Tweeting and Repeating

Twitter went wild with the news of Osama bin Laden’s death Sunday night, and Members were no exception.

Hundreds of tweets have been posted, so HOH wanted to know: What were the most-used words and phrases?

Members stuck to the news when it came to the top three: “bin Laden” (177 times), “Osama” (125 times) and “death” (111 times).

They were reverent for those who died on “9/11” (26 times, “September 11” four times).

They made sure to “God bless” (18 times) the troops, soldiers and intelligence offcers, but especially America. (“God bless America” was up 11 times.)

They reminded us to remain “vigilant” (six times) and “brave” (23 times).

And they’re “proud” (12 times) “to be an American” (three times), since we could finally declare “victory” (20 times).
